What do you like most about working with kids?

Children have a completely different perspective on how the world works which can be very refreshing. Additionally I like to see them grow in self-sufficiency. It's great to tutor or lead activities where by the end of the year a child is more curious, social, and self-confident about their ability to handle whatever comes their way.

Career with CampCo
:
I began working with CampCo in October 2007 in the after-school program. I have great supervisors and co-workers and have learned so much through CampCo about a age variety of children wider than I used to be familiar with. I have gone through thorough training with the rest of the staff where I had a great opportunity to learn more about games, songs, how disciplinary action and listening to children should work, and much more. I have greatly enjoyed my job and tasks over the last seven or so months and have felt that I have acquired a good deal of useful experience that I can apply elsewhere regarding children - as well as trying to apply what I have learned through past jobs.
