To register, TEXT Sylvia your date & time preference. No charge for returning staff, this year.
If you prefer to take the course through another vendor, you will be responsible for the course fee. Be sure to confirm that the course & vendor is approved by CampCo management.

NOTE: Due to new requirements for the American Red Cross courses, these times are slightly different than originally posted when you completed the rehire application (in-person 3 hours vs 2.5 hours).

Current CPR/First Aid certificate is MANDATORY in order to be hired to work for CampCo. CampCo will cover the $55* fee for our in-house course for REHIRES this year. *Cancellations or no-shows less than 72 hours in advance will be charged the $55 course fee.
The CampCo course is “hybrid online/in-person; approximately 2-½ hours online portion must be completed prior to the 3-hours in-person date. Wear comfy clothing.
TRAINING: Sexual Harassment Course
Due: On or before Thursday, June 4, 2026 @ 5pm. Get started now.
Online course.
Course needs to be completed every two years.
Counselors: 1 hour
SD/Asst: 2 hours
WHO: Ava, Brady, Anthony, Caleb, Brynn, Sam, Kinder.
(If you have a current certification from another employer, we may accept that certificate. Check with Sylvia).
You will be invited via email to complete this online course at “Mandated Reporter Training.”
You may begin this course as soon as soon as you receive the invitation (get it done early so less stress during finals). CampCo will be notified when you’ve completed the course.
You will be paid on your June 25 paycheck for the course.

You may do this any time after completing the Mandated Reporter Training. If your certificate is current & you do not need to re-take the course, this year, you may read & sign the statement now.

Review CampCo Staff Manual & exam. Discuss C.I.T.s, social media, photos… Be role model for new staff. Show them how amazing you are. Jump in & lead! Go through Deputy, ADP, GroupMe, UltraCamp. Discuss Site-specific Training & Summer Camp Kick-off Training responsibilities of each staff.

ADP is CampCo’s Payroll Provider:
Check your email for something from: “Payroll Security” with subject: “CAMPCO DAY CAMPS INC. wants you to access your pay info, taxes and more with MyADP.” Sign up for your MyADP account. (you don’t need “Wisely” or a credit card or anything they are trying to get you to sign up for).
Complete tax forms & direct deposit information. Choose “paper-less” for your paycheck stubs.
(If you have already done this in previous seasons, then you only need to log in & double check your info).
Complete all forms:
Tax withholding, Direct Deposit, Paperless.

Due: Not required, but highly recommended.
All employees age 18+ or turning 18 during the summer season will automatically be enrolled in CalSavers.
If you have not already created your CalSavers log-in in previous CampCo seasons, you may want to so you can make adjustments to how much what % or how much $ you’d like to save each paycheck.

LMVA STAFF: 8am-1pm, Camp site
LFS&S STAFF: 11am-4pm, Youth Center
Site-specific training & manual. Parent info letter & orientation video. Detailed walk-thru of camp day. Swim test, aquatic supervision demonstration, fishing set-up, drive-thru, boat training (lmva only), emergency procedures. Finish setting up camps. Wear MWF Uniform & bring swimsuit, towel & sunscreen. Bring snacks & water.
EMAIL CPR & FIRST AID CERTIFICATES TO CAMPCO
Due: On or before May 31, 2026
WHO: Brynn, Ava, Brady, Anthony, Cassidy, Caleb, Lily, Kinder.
Renewed your CPR & First Aid certification since last summer? Email your current CPR & FIRST AID Certificates to: Sylvia@campcodaycamps.com so it may be stored in your personnel file. If you get your certification from a course taught by Sylvia, she will complete this task for you.

Pleeease get it done by Thursday night so we don’t have to do this training.
TRAINING: Summer Kick-off
Saturday, June 6, 2026, 9am-4:30pm
Lake Forest Sun & Sail Club, Youth Center
The S&S Club has a swim meet that day. Parking will be crazy; carpool or get dropped off, if possible.
Returners who attend Grad Night on the night prior have the option to arrive at 12:30pm on Saturday (advanced approval by 5/10/26 is required).
The final details before camp starts on Monday! Returners will be taking a very active role in helping with this training. Activity rotations: games, songs, skits, fishing, lanyards, camp activities packet. Team-bonding activities. Tips & tricks for working with campers. Safety at camp, The Jar & lots more fun & important stuff! Wear TTh Uniform & sunscreen. Pizza lunch provided.
