Dates/Times:	Assigned week: Monday-Friday; 8:30-4pm One Week session between June 5-Aug 14. See application to choose your preferred CIT week (weeks do fill!) Those accepted into the program will be notified of their assigned week. Mandatory Training: Friday, June 5th, 2026; 10am-12:30pm @ Lake Mission Viejo Please do not apply if you are unable to attend this meeting.

What:	Hey Teens! Ready to rock this summer? Do you have the superpowers of responsibility, reliability, and hard work? Are you a total kid magnet who loves everything about making summer unforgettable? If spending a week leading an epic game of freeze tag, helping create the coolest crafts, and teaching little champs how to tie their shoes sounds like a blast, then listen up! Apply to be a CIT (Counselor-in-Training) and unlock the secrets to being the ultimate camp hero! The CampCo CIT Program isn't just about watching—it's about doing! This is your VIP ticket to a fantastic leadership development experience where you'll: • Master the Counselor Arts: Learn the ropes of leading groups like a pro. • Embrace Your Inner Boss: Gain real-world responsibility and killer leadership skills. • Deep Dive into Kid-world: Get a hands-on understanding of what makes summer camp magic happen! Your Adventure Awaits! • The Interview: Show us your spark! Each applicant will be required to complete a virtual interview. • Mandatory Training: Accepted CITs will attend a mandatory, high-energy training session where you’ll learn essential camp skills and safety basics. • Your Hero Week: You'll be scheduled for a one-week session to shine by assisting with camper groups, prepping and leading awesome crafts, and soaking up every aspect of day camp—all with the expert guidance of our veteran camp staff! Those who are accepted into the program must attend our MANDATORY TRAINING, June 5th,10am-12:30pm. Please do not apply if you are unable to attend the mandatory training. Ready to Apply? To give you a taste of a real job application (great practice!), the TEEN must complete the CIT application, send emails, and make any calls to our office (don't worry about being perfect—a little nervousness is normal).
