Education:
Sam graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Psychology. Certifications: She is an Instructor for the American Red Cross and Certified to teach CPR/First Aid as well as the Babysitter's Training Course. Hobbies: Anything outdoors and active, especially snowboarding and wakeboarding with family and friends. Running and spinning. I also love to read. Future goals; personal or with CampCo? Sam plans to work with CampCo in the field of Recreation. Anywhere she goes in life she know that she will be working with children, for now she continues to expand her knowledge each day working various CampCo programs. Someday Sam hopes to have enough kids to have a camp of her own (She says that she wants an army.) The Best thing about working with kids? I love their open and creative minds and how they see and analyze the world. My favorite ages to work with are the preschoolers because of their pure joy and happiness. I love seeing the surprise in their faces when they have accomplished a task or grasped a concept…. Every day working with the kids puts a smile on my face and makes my work worthwhile. Tell us about your career with CampCo. I have been working with CampCo since 2003 on and off. I started out as a recreation staff in 2003 and absolutely loved my experience. I took two years off while going to school in Pomona and returned to CampCo as a Senior Recreation Leader in 2006 at Oak Knoll little folks in Ladera. I have been with CampCo ever since and moved up to the Day Camp Director position the summer of 2007.
